Deny yourself or love yourself? The answer is both.

I’ve always wrestled with denying myself or loving myself. “Denying myself” is biblical, but it’s wrongly applied to mean self-loathing. “Loving myself” isn’t a tweetable verse in the Bible, but it’s the message of the biblical story as a whole.
